Recent Conversation between the heart and mind
Heart: So I’ve been getting this strong feeling that its time that I open up some more to possibilities, be more open.
Mind: Damn, I thought you were already wide open?
Heart: Nope not even close why would you think this?
Mind: Well, prior experiences and adventures that you have taken us on, I was thinking there couldn’t possibly be any more.
Heart: Well, I got this feeling that it is about time for us to start exploring new grounds.
Mind: You know you can get hurt exploring new grounds its dangerous out there, are you not afraid haven’t you learned your lesson from past experiences?
Heart: I’m not afraid of getting hurt, didn’t you notice that I always heal like brand new or we always receive beautiful blessings when we go on our adventures.
Mind: Yeah, but at the same time you make me work overtime when you decide to get out there on these crazy safaris that sometimes leave you hurt, and if you haven’t noticed when you hurt I hurt. Plus I don’t like to see you in pain its just get me tired and drain also.
Heart: Well what are you for? Do you want to be a useless mind? I’ve got to get you to thinking, learning new things, being exposed to more stuff broaden your outlook? You complain, but I know you enjoy the excitement.
Mind: Well my dear heart, all i’m trying to say is that when you hurt I feel your pain and sometimes I can’t find a solution to everything then all we can rely on is time and time can take some time.
Heart: Well my dear beautiful mind, this is life and Time is our friend don’t forget time is on our side and always comes through maybe not when we want it but it’s always on time in some mysterious way. So if time does have to be a remedy in any kind of way to us let us be thankful for its generosity.
Mind: Ok with that said I’m ready whenever you are just let me know of your moves so we can work together on this next adventure. Please can you do this for me.
Heart: I will try, you know how excited and passionate I get when the blood starts to race through me.
